1. British Consulate Shutdown #JFTC2

Today a group of members of Anti Colonialist Working Group went to the British Consulate in Toronto to protest the unjust and criminal detention of The Craigavon Two. Upon arriving on the 28th floor of 777 Bay Street a banner was unfurled which stated #JFTC2 and flyers were handed out to people who were attempting to enter the consulate for various reasons. As a result of this occupation the Brits were not allowing people to enter the interior of there office and shut down services. People denied entrance included some sort of maintenance worker who was their to do maintenance work inside the interior of the British consulate. After several discussions around the issue of the Craigavon Two with consulate officials through the internal phone system of the consulate and the promise that someone would come and talk to us about this issue various consulate security and thugs came to remove us from the building demanding to go through our cellphone under the guise that we took an illegal picture and other such nonsense. Despite the fact that we were being peaceful we were threatened with arrest and such esp when we did not let them go through our phones. These thugs threatened us with arrest next time they see us and on that note we unfurled our banner outside and handed out leaflets explaining to people the case of the Craigavon Two. The reception from pedestrians was very positive and it was quite clear that the action was successful. The issue of the Craigavon Two is quite important since two individuals have spent over six years in jail as a result of this miscarriage of justice. 2. Statement from The 32CSM International Department In Solidarity With The Actions By The Hugo Chavez Peoples Defense Front Actions In Support Of Venezuela
On behalf of the international department of the 32CSM we send revolutionary greetings to the people gathered here today to take a stand against this most recent aggression launched by the us imperialists against the people of Venezuela and there right to determine their own destiny. The 32csm is a grassroots movement of Irish people unified on the basis that key issue facing the irish people today is the issue of sovereignty and as such as long as britain is occupying the six counties in the north there can never be peace because the act of occupation in and of itself is violence and it is only by a full British withdrawal allowing the Irish people themselves to become the decision-makers that peace can be restored because the conflict in and of itself is the occupation.

As such we condemn the statement of Obama calling Venezuela a threat to national security for it is the US that is a threat to the national security of Venezuela Latin America and the world. It is the US that arms the so-called peaceful protestors who are responsible for over 43 deaths and numerous arsons and other acts of terror. It is the US and there lackeys that are hoarding basic food staples and engaging in speculation for the purpose of destabilizing the economy. It is the US that has conspired with canada and the not so great britain to attempt coups to stop the Venezuelan from determining their own destiny subverting the Venezuelan people’s right to determine their own destiny and finally it is the us that has trained and armed the Columbian paramilitary that violate Venezuela boarders to carry out terrorism

Just as the source of conflict in Ireland is the British occupation so too is the source of conflict in Venezuela the capitalist and colonialist aspiration of the us to once again colonize Venezuela and punish it for choosing to determine their own destiny.

In closing the 32csm stands with the people of Venezuela against the US s victim blaming and campaign of terror against the Venezuelan people and demand that the U$ stop it’s aggression against a sovereign people.

3. Tomorrow support The Craigavon Two Download Justice For The Craigavon Two on Itunes

Today several hundred people gathered at Kitchener City Hall to take a stand against Bill C51 know as the anti terrorist act. This act in many ways mirrors the 2001 UK Anti Terrorist act and one can see first hand the fruits of this law in The North of Ireland. First one has the case of Marian Price who has spent over 2 years in isolation for simply holding a piece of paper, this simple act was seen as supporting and promoting terrorism, one sees what secret evidence leads to in the case of Martin Corey,a man in his 70′ who also spent about 2 years in jail and know yet know why. The case of Christine Connors a young woman who was arrested on a serious charge has been on remand in custody for a long time simply because her facebook posts show disdain for the occupiers. In terms of glorification and promotion of terrorism simply arguing or defending the IRA in a conversation is enough to lock you up and throw away the key.

If you think Im exaggerating ask Stephen Murney who was arrested for posting know your rights and copwatch stuff. He was also ripped away from his family and locked up just cause.

The Case of the Craigavon Two is another such case, two men locked up on the secret testimony of a man who claims to have seen them commit the despite the fact that he was blind as a bat. When his father came forward to say his son was lieing, MI6 decided to take him in custody and brutalize and intimidate him to change his testimony, which he did not. Then there is the issue of the tracking device that was on their car that was mysteriously wiped despite the fact that this device was in the hands of the so called proper authority’s. An amazing singer called Pol Mac Adaim is releasing a song about them tomorrow which I hope that most people will buy. The idea of protest songs like Hurricane by Bob Dylan is quite common, yet I ask one to google this song and see how he is vilified demonized and criminalized in the media simply for singing his views. The level of smear makes FOX NEWS look like a credible news source.

Of course these laws when passed will impact everyone because they are not aimed at everyone, the people whom they are aimed at are Indigenous people, Muslims and those who oppose the genocide and colonialist policy’s of this state. One need only look at the G20 to see who was targeted for infiltration and conspiracy charges, everyone one of the so called conspirators was involved in Indigenous solidarity or some form of anticolonialist struggle. These are the people who will be targeted those who are resisting the colonialist project and those that are standing up to affirm their basic rights that they have by being human and resisting attacks by the state that aim to further disenfranchise them of what is theres.

As settlers we have an obligation to examine this law its fruits and reject it because it is our duty to say no more not in our name.

4. Thoughts on Bill C51 and the fruits of similar legislation in The North Of Ireland

Tomorrow Pol Mac Adiam is releasing a single entitled Justice For The Craigavon Two which will be available on Itunes. The idea around this is to make the song so popular that the BBC will be forced to play it if it reaches the top 40s in the charts therefor raising attention to this cause. The Craigavon Two are 2 Irish Republicans falsely accused of a crime they did not commit based on Diplock Courts, Secret evidence perjured witnesses and evidence tampering such as a device under their car which was a tracking device put by the nefarious forces mysteriously being wiped.

The imprisonment of these comrades is an affront to justice and shows that within the occupied Six Counties British forces need no real evidence other then the fact that one is an Irish Republican to imprison and criminalize someone. With the introduction of Bill C51 which borrows much from the UK 2001 anti terror act its only a matter of time before such cases appear here. So please take some time tomorrow and promote this and download the song to the get message out.
