"It's A Matter of Social Justice": An Alliance Against Poverty in Waterloo Region

listen to the Daily GRRR!:

As part of the 13th annual homelessness radio marathon in Canada (17th annual in North America), the CKMS newsroom hosted a discussion with Martin, Brayden, and Oz from KW based Alliance Against Poverty, a grassroots community organization.

The discussion covers social housing and predatory landlords, emergency shelters and downloading of services onto community organizations, accessibility of healthy food, stagnant social assistance payments, and more.

The 2015 homelessness marathon was hosted by CFRC in Kingston and we would again like to thank the organizers for a great job!
