Tru Rez is a hip hop group from the Grand River Indian Reservation in Ontario, Canada. Tru Rez has been producing their music since 1999. Together the members of Tru Rez Crew have great chemistry, charisma, Native pride and wisdom with an abundance of talent that allows for the production of unique songs that represent different struggles.

On Saturday June 22, 2013 Tru Rez Crew will be joined by Slam poets of the Grand River Territory to take the stage for unique, creative, interactive and thought provoking performances! An event you sure don't want to miss!!

Through CKMS's CFRC grant to create a news program - The Grand River Media Collective gets to run a multi-part workshop series that we haved called The Grand River Indy Media School.

On Sunday January 27th the Grand River Indy MediA School will have An Afternoon of Workshops:
13:00-18:00
1. Activist Media Skills (how to write a press release, how to give interviews, social media skills and alt media)
2. Interviewing for Radio/Podcasts
3. Editing Audio/Podcasts.
