Body: An interview with Kitchener based activist Julian Ichim on the summer-long tent city which was launched in response to the ongoing housing and fentanyl poisoning crises in Waterloo region.
We discuss the idea of drugs as a social issue, police harassment and dig for some roots of the issues. Julian highlights the activities of the “Overdose Prevention Team” as the push for a safe injection site intensifies in town.
